In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Features
