The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
